Baked Sirloin Roast with Herb Rub

Ingredients

1 sirloin tip roast (about 3 lbs.)

1 Tbsp paprika

1 ½ teaspoons sea salt

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon ground black pepper

½ teaspoon onion powder

1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

½ teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon dried thyme

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 ½ Tbsp olive oil

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, mix the paprika, sea salt, garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder, cayenne pepper, oregano, and thyme. Stir in the olive oil and minced garlic. Set aside and let the rub paste rest for about 15 minutes.

2. Preheat oven to 350° F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

3. Place the sirloin tip roast on the prepared baking sheet and brush the rub paste on all sides of the roast.

4. Roast in the oven for 1-3 hours (depending on size) until a minimum internal temperature reaches 135-145° F. Use a thermometer to check. Let sit 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
