Hormone Testing (Saliva) and Interpretation
Saliva testing measures free, unbound hormone levels, which is often much more useful than blood testing for determining the hormonal needs of the body. The advantage of salivary testing is in creating a useful picture of biologically active levels of hormones at the tissue and cellular level.
Choose from:
Expanded Male Hormone panel
$240
This test includes testosterone, androstenedione, dihydrotestosterone, DHEA and DHEA-S, estrone and estradiol, progesterone, FSH and LH.
Expanded Female Hormone panel (cycling)
$425
This test consists of 11 saliva samples gathered at specific times throughout the menstrual cycle. This is a great choice when you’re trying to understand the reasons for PMS symptoms, or when trying to conceive. Results include a dynamic mapping of estradiol and progesterone, along with the cycle average of testosterone and DHEA, plus FSH and LH. Having this information helps us to understand in what part of the reproductive cycle should be targeted for nutritional support.
DUTCH Urine Test (peri- or full menopause)
$399
This test is helpful in understanding if our various hormone levels are sufficient as we age gracefully. Includes three different estrogens (E1, E2, and E3), progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, cortisol and cortisone, plus organic acids and markers for B6, B12, melatonin, gut dysbiosis, dopamine, and adrenaline.
Adrenal Stress Index Test
$250
This is an informative test for people with energy and sleep issues. From this test, we can see if adrenal hormone production is in a state of “alarm” or of “exhaustion”. It is possible to add a test sample in the middle of the night to investigate the cause of interrupted sleep.
Toxic Metals & Elements Panel
$329
if you have been wondering how the toxic environment we live in has affected your internal health, this test is for you. This test includes a salivary sample and a urinary sample. The test helps to determine if your heavy metal and trace element levels could be linked to unexplained signs and symptoms. The metals and trace elements include: Aluminum (Al), Antimony (Sb), Arsenic (As), Barium (Ba), Beryllium (Be), Cadmium (Cd), Calcium (Ca), Cesium (Cs), Chromium (Cr), Cobalt (Co), Copper (Cu), Gadolinium (Gd), Iron (Fe), Lead (Pb), Lithium (Li), Magnesium (Mg), Manganese (Mn), Mercury (Hg), Molybdenum (Mo), Nickel (Ni), Palladium (Pd), Phosphorous (P), Platinum (Pt), Rubidium (Rb), Selenium (Se), Silver (Ag), Strontium (Sr), Thallium (Tl), Thorium (Th), Tin (Sn), Titanium (Ti), Tungsten (W), Uranium (U), Vanadium (V), Zinc (Zn), Zirconium (Zr)
